Gala Concert
Tickets for the Gala Evening Concert on Friday, May 27, will be $50.00 each. Must be 19 years of age to attend. Food, refreshments and alcoholic beverages will be served at an additional cost.
The Gala Concert will be a Star Studded event featuring:
- Don Burnstick - the very famous and funny Canadian comedian will open the evening with a hilarious live set!
- The Leesiders - the popular Whitehorse band will perform all your favourite "Oldies but Goodies" to get you dancing!
- Susan Aglukark -
One of Canada's most unique artists, Award-winning Aboriginal singer-songwriter Susan Aglukark blends the Inuktitut and English languages with contemporary pop music arrangements to tell the stories of her people, the Inuit of Arctic Canada. The emotional depth and honesty of her lyrics, her pure, clear voice and her themes of hope, spirit and encouragement will captivate the audience.
